‘No Mercy’, Iran Supreme Leaders Vows Retaliation Against Israel and U.S

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has issued a forceful warning to Israel, vowing that Tehran will show “no mercy” in retaliation for recent Israeli airstrikes targeting Iranian territory.

The declaration, shared via Khamenei’s official X account on Wednesday, came amid rising regional tensions and sharp rhetoric from U.S. officials.

“We must give a strong response to the terrorist Zionist regime. We will show the Zionists no mercy,” Khamenei stated.

His remarks followed a wave of Israeli air raids last week that struck Iranian military, nuclear facilities and Iran TV station as well as residential zones.

In response, Iran launched a series of missile and drone strikes, which it claimed included the use of hypersonic weapons against Israeli targets.

The situation intensified further on Tuesday when former U.S. President Donald Trump entered the fray, demanding Iran’s “unconditional surrender” and provocatively stating that the United States had the capability to assassinate Ayatollah Khamenei if it deemed necessary.

The dramatic escalation in threats has prompted widespread international concern, with fears mounting that the confrontation could spiral into full-scale war.

The United Nations, along with key global powers, has urged both nations to exercise restraint and return to diplomatic dialogue.

Global leaders have also called on all sides to prioritize the protection of civilians, warning that continued hostilities risk destabilizing the entire Middle East.

As conflict intensifies, the world watches closely, hoping for de-escalation amid the growing threat of a wider regional conflict.
