By Kendall Solutions, a company based in Texas, United States, has unveiled a machine that makes all kinds of swallow foods and gives something extra.
The official launch of the product called OmniSmart YamPounder Plus was held at Bravas Events Centre in the Ikeja area of Lagos, on Saturday.
The event had in attendance dignitaries, media oufits, representatives of the official sponsor, Zenith Bank, among others.
Speaking before the machine’s unveiling, Mr Steve Olayinka described it as a wonderful creation that will revolutionise the African cooking industry.
“We are talking about a machine that makes pounding easy. OmniSmart YamPounder Plus is a computer, an experience, and a lifestyle beyond imagination,” he said.
Madam Jane, a dietician, also explained the health benefits that come with using such a carefully designed machine to make swallow foods.
The meat of the event was carried out by the maker of the machine, an American-board certified cardiologist, Dr Gregson who disclosed that the new product is an improvement of “Fufu Magic Machine” , an earlier innovation by his company.
He explained that OmniSmart YamPounder Plus was inspired by the calls by Nigerians to have a machine that makes swallow foods, different from the regular processed ones which are said to cause heart diseases.
Dr Gregson stated that the innovation is a culinary game changer in Africa and future of African cooking, noting that it also has a fully functional rice cooker with the ability to make tuwo shinkafa.
What followed was the official unveiling of the proud amid cheers from the invited guests and clicks of cameras.
