A Nigerian man who made a significant sacrifice by attending a recruitment exam for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) instead of his wedding has secured the job.
Reports reveal that his wedding and the exam were scheduled for the same day.
Despite the conflict, the man decided to prioritize the exam over his wedding, which led to his colleagues giving him the nickname “Angon NNPC.”
Fortunately, his decision paid off, as he was successfully hired without any external connections.
One of his colleagues shared, “My colleague’s wedding coincided with the recruitment exam, but he chose to attend the exam and skipped his wedding. We started calling him Angon NNPC after that. Alhamdulillah, he got the job with no connections. Whatever you do in life, trust in Allah.”
Recently, NNPC Limited announced that appointment letters were being sent out to successful candidates, emphasizing the transparency and fairness of their recruitment process.
