President Muhammadu Buhari moments ago announced that those planning to snatch ballot boxes during the 2019 General Election will be doing so at the expense of their lives.
President Buhari, who is also the presidential candidate of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress made this declaration during his Party’s Caucus Meeting some moments ago in Abuja.
According to the statement which is now making rounds online, the President was quoted as saying he has ordered the Military and Police to be brutal in dealing with person’s found disrupting the election process as well as those that intend to snatch ballot boxes.
The statement read, “I really have the Military and Police order to be ruthless. Anybody who thinks he has enough influence in his locality to lead a body of thugs to snatch ballot boxes or disturbs the voting system, will do so at the expense of his own life.”
