NIGERIA POLICE TO CARRY OUT FORENSIC AUDIT ON PARTISAN OFFICER SHOWING SUPPORT TO BUHARI AND APC
BlackBox Nigeria reports that the Acting Inspector General of Police, Muhammed Adamu has ordered the Digital and Forensic Unit of the Police Force to investigate the authenticity of the viral photo of some police officers publicly displaying their support for President Buhari and the All Progressive Congress, APC at the forthcoming polls with the 4+4 pro-Buhari sign.

This was revealed via a tweet on Monday February 18th 2019 on the official handle of the Force @PoliceNG.
The tweet was in response to a compliant by Nigerians over the conduct of the police officers.
The tweet read:
“The IGP M.A Adamu has charged the Digital and Forensic Unit of @PoliceNG to investigate the authenticity of this photo, to ascertain whether it’s real or photo-shopped. The outcome of the investigation and appropriate actions will be made known to the public.”
Earlier, Tony Andew tweeted that:
“Nigeria Police Force….Is this your staff? Nigeria Police Force is meant to be apolitical/Neutral. Why are they displaying 4+4 fingers synonymous with APC and President Buhari. Do the right thing & relieve them of their duties. Nigerians are waiting.”
