By NEMA Rice Truck Crushes 8 To Death In Nasarawa
A truck loaded with about 600 bags of rice have been reported to crush no fewer than eight persons after the driver lost control while driving.
It was learnt that the tragic incident happened in Doma Local Government Area of Nassarawa State where the truck belonging to the National Emergency Management Agency in Idadu Community. It happened on Monday, December 11th.
According to reports by Nothern City News, the truck driver who was suspected to be drunk lost control of the vehicle and crashed into two houses situated along the road. The conductor attached to the truck was also among the dead persons.
An eyewitness disclosed to NCN that people along the road shouted before the truck crashed into the houses. He also added that some people were hit by the truck which was on speed before eventually coming to a halt.
