Following the approval of every November 1st as the National Youth Day in Nigeria, the Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter and his executives congratulates the teeming Nigerian youths for President Muhammadu Buhari’s gesture.
The State Chairman, Comrade Biliamin Lekan, in a release, appreciated the President for recognizing the youth as catalyst of change.
“The President is apparently convinced that the youths are the drivers of the 21st century economy, whose partnership is veritable to national development, hence the recognition.” Lekan said.
Comrade Biliamin noted that the President has again demonstrated his unalloyed commitment towards the youth development in the country .
The State Chairman reiterated that the You-Agenda by the Lagos State Chapter will certainly fit into the new move by Mr President and will ensure a positive synergy between the Federal, State governments and the NYCN in achieving government’s plans, programmes and policies, especially aimed at youthful development.
The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr Sunday Dare was also commended for putting the youths in the forefront of national development.
“He has changed the narratives in the Ministry and posterity will definitely be kind to him. We can only appreciate and appeal to him to continue to fight the cause of the youth.” Comrade Biliamin said.
