By Team Lagos had qualified for the quarter finals of the Badminton Team event in the ongoing National Sports Festival in Benin City.
The 20th edition of the Sports Festival, tagged Edo 2020, after a series of postponements, kicked off on Sunday, April 4.
BlackBox Nigeria learnt that the duo of Anuoluapo Opeyeri and Godwin Olufia in the First Round game defeated Team Ekiti (2-0).
In the Second Round, Team Lagos defeated Team Ogun (2-0). Matches were played on Sunday.
The Team qualified to the quarter finals to play with the winners between Team Edo and Team FCT.
