NASS Effects Retirement Age Scheme, Sacks Sani Omolori And 149 Others
The National Assembly Service Commission on Wednesday effected the retirement age of all staff to 35years in service or at age 60yrs.
The announcement was contained in the press statement released by the Commission after it’s 497th meeting held on Wednesday where it disclosed that in pursuant to it’s mandate as provided in the National Assembly Service Act 2004 (as amended) approved the retirement age of the staff of the National Assembly Service as 35yrs of service or 60years whichever comes first.
The statement also added that all staff currently in the employment of the Commission and have reached the stated retirement age are effectively retired and will be served respective letters shortly.
Among those affected by the retirement age is the Clerk of the National Assembly, Alhaji Mohammed Sani-Omolori as he has been penned for retirement along with 149 others.
