NASFAT Ikorodu Branch Honors Rep. Babajimi Benson with Ramadan Public Lecture

 

The Nasrul-lahi-l-Fatih Society (NASFAT) Ikorodu branch yesterday hounored Rep. Babajimi Benson with a Ramadan Public Lecture, highlighting his dedication to the betterment of the community.

The lecture tagged “Keeping Fit and Healthy: Islamic Perspective,” was delivered by Sheikh Bukhary Yahya Salaty (Khalipha Ameerul Jaish Salaty), captivated the audience with insightful teachings on maintaining physical well-being in challenging economic times. 

Using the opportunity to pay gratitude to God and the people of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Benson express gratitude for the prayers extended not only to him but also to Lagos State and President Bola Tinubu, urging Muslims to continue praying for Nigeria’s prosperity.

 

The event also saw the distribution of over 500 food packs to Muslims observing the Ramadan fast, exemplifying NASFAT’s commitment to supporting the community during this sacred month. Additionally, Rep. Benson announced a generous pledge towards the procurement of a state-of-the-art facility for the NASFAT Health Centre in Ikorodu, further solidifying his dedication to enhancing healthcare services in the constituency.

The occasion was graced by esteemed personalities, including Hon. Sulaiman Kazeem Olanrewaju, Chairman of Ikorodu West LCDA, and Hon. Wasiu Agoro, Chairman of Imota LCDA, among others. Rep. Benson expressed his profound appreciation to NASFAT Ikorodu branch and all attendees, emphasizing the importance of unity and collective efforts in fostering positive change within the community during this auspicious month of Ramadan.
