Nollywood actress and media personality Nancy Isime has revealed that she is ready to settle down and get married, emphasising that kindness and good character are more important to her than wealth or status in a partner.
In a candid conversation with television host Morayo Afolabi-Brown, the 34-year-old star said she is at a point in her life where she feels ready for marriage and is intentional about finding the right person. Isime explained that, while she is attractive and often admired, she won’t marry just anyone. According to her, kindness is a non-negotiable trait, something she believes reflects a person’s true nature and cannot be faked.
“I am of marriage age. I am 34,” she said, adding that being desired by many is not enough reason to make a lifelong commitment.
“Before you can be my friend or even relate with me, not to talk of getting married to me, you have to be kind. And I don’t mean performative. I mean genuine kindness. Once kindness is there, everything else can be worked on,” she noted.
