Na Jazz? Nigerian Born Boxer Knocks Out Cuban In 20 Seconds

Lawrence Okolie, a Rio 2016 Olympian took just 20 seconds to record a knockout win on his professional debut. The 24 years old British cruiserweight caught Geoffrey Cave with two solid right hands.

“Sorry to everyone that missed me fighting”, was the tweet Okolie sent out to teeming fans, most of which were yet to get entrance into the Manchester Arena where the bout was staged.

The London-based Cuban, Cave 33 have now lost all his three professional fights.

Okolie competed at the Rio 2016 Olympics in the Heavyweight category and lost out to Cuba’s Erislandy Savon at the last 16 Stage.

The Nigerian born British boxer wishes to become a World Champion within a period of four years and has been scheduled to fight on the undercard of Ricky Burn’s super-lightweight unification bout with Julius Indongo on April 15th.
