A high-stakes boxing match has been officially proposed between two of Nigeria’s most controversial internet personalities, Portable and VeryDarkMan.
The bout, if accepted, would see both men trade verbal jabs for real punches in a ring showdown scheduled to take place at the KFT Event Center in Warri, Delta State.
According to the proposal shared by Soso Soberekon, CEO of White Lion Group on his official Instagram handle, a staggering N120 million has been earmarked as the prize money for the event.
Soso is an entertainment businessman and music manager. Sometimes ago, he served as manager to KceePresh before gotten entangled in Skibii death hoax scandal.
This is not the first time Soso is offering money for a celebrity fight.
Reports shows that in April, Soso offered N20 million donation for Speed Darlington’s rematch with Portable.
The winner would walk away with N100 million, while the loser is expected to receive a consolation payout of N20 million.
The match is being promoted as the ultimate face-off between two of the country’s most outspoken figures, both known for their frequent online altercations and bold public statements.
The promotional message described the event as “2 mouths, 1 ring,” challenging both men to back their words with action.
“No more talk! Let’s turn this online cruise into real-life bruises,” the statement read, urging both parties to sign the dotted line and step into the ring.
While neither Portable (@portablebaeby) nor VeryDarkMan (@verydarkblackman) has officially confirmed acceptance of the challenge, the announcement has already generated significant buzz across social media platforms, with fans eager to see if the online feud will finally be settled with gloves.
The proposed venue, KFT Event Center in Warri, is expected to attract a large crowd should the event move forward, with many anticipating an explosive showdown between the two entertainers.
However, talks are already going on in town as to the natural prowess of portable in celebrity bout, having beaten every contender he faced, but the giant nature of Verydarkman is giving some hints as to whether he might defeat portable this time around.
As anticipation builds, all eyes are now on both men to see whether they will accept the challenge and make history in what could be one of Nigeria’s most talked-about celebrity matches.
