Nigerian music sensation Mr Eazi is mourning the loss of his mother, Ifeoma Edith Ajibade, with a heartfelt tribute on Instagram. He expressed gratitude for her unwavering faith, unconditional support, and sacrifices, describing her as his greatest protector, toughest critic, and biggest supporter.
In his emotional post, Mr Eazi thanked his mother for raising him with love, discipline, and devotion to God.
He acknowledged her imperfections but emphasized that she was perfect to him. The singer concluded by saying that her legacy will live on.
Mr Eazi’s tribute has sparked an outpouring of condolences from fans and industry colleagues. The circumstances of his mother’s passing have not been made public.
Mr Eazi, whose real name is Oluwatosin Ajibade, is a pioneer of Banku music, a fusion of Ghanaian highlife and Nigerian Afrobeats. He has gained international recognition with hits like “Skin Tight” and “Leg Over”.
