By Mr Eazi Under Fire For Claiming To Introduce Ghana Wave Into Nigerian Music Sphere
Mr Eazi has come under fire for stating that Nigerian artistes are now making waves making use of Ghana’s words which he introduced some months ago.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that Eazi took a swipe at Runtown for making use of his Ghana’s wave to make hit songs, this has since ignited a beef between the duo along with their fans.
His claim has since generated reactions on social media as users stated that stars before Eazi had used slangs from the Black Star nation. The likes of Tony Tetuila and VIP were also mentioned as stars that have reigned in the past.
Another artist, Shakar El in an Instagram post also called out Eazi for insinuating that he introduced the Ghana-wave into Nigerian music sphere as he referred to his 2009 single titled ‘Anyhow’ where he used several words such as kente, banku among others.
