Nigerian music star Mr Eazi has reacted with humour to false social media claims that he and his wife, Temi Otedola, have welcomed their first child together.
The rumours began circulating recently after a post on X accompanied by AI-generated images of Temi holding a newborn suggested the celebrity couple had just welcomed a baby girl.
The viral claim celebrated the supposed birth as a milestone in their high-profile relationship, which has drawn widespread attention both in Nigeria and internationally.
However, Mr Eazi quickly put the speculation to rest. In a response that combined humour with scepticism, the singer quoted the social media post and asked, “Is Temi aware of this?” making it clear that neither he nor his wife had announced a birth, and that the report was untrue.
His reaction sparked amusement online, with many followers praising him for addressing the gossip in a light-hearted way while implicitly warning about the rise of AI-generated content being used to spread misinformation.
Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, tied the knot in 2025 after a long-term relationship that began years earlier.
Their lavish wedding celebrations, which took place across multiple countries, captured public imagination and fuelled ongoing interest in their personal lives.
Although speculation about the couple starting a family continues, neither Mr Eazi nor Temi has publicly confirmed any pregnancy or childbirth.
For now, the singer’s playful response to the viral post appears to have firmly shut down the rumour while highlighting how quickly deep-fake or AI visuals can spread false narratives about public figures.
