Mozambique suffered a 3-2 defeat to Nigeria in an international friendly match on Monday, despite scoring two goals and playing with 10 men for more than half of the game.
The Mambas took an early lead on 6th minute when Geny Catamo found the net with a low shot from inside the box.
However, Nigeria equalised on 19th minute through Terem Moffi, who tapped in a rebound after a save by the Mozambican goalkeeper.
The Super Eagles then took control of the game and scored two more goals before halftime.
Frank Onyeka made it 2-1 on 30 minutes with a powerful strike from the edge of the area, and Moses Simon converted a penalty on 45+1 minutes after Edmison Dove was sent off for a foul on him.

Mozambique did not give up and pulled one back on 55 minutes through Faisal Bangal, who headed in a cross from the right wing.
The Mambas tried to find an equaliser in the remaining time, but Nigeria defended well and secured their first win in a friendly match in five years.
