The Elegushi Royal Family of Eti-Osa has denied knowing Samson Brinfolami Balogun, AKA, Sam Larry, and has demanded a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of llenolawa Aloha, known as Mohbad.
According to the statement released by the family on Thursday, Sam Larry is not a member of the royal family and does not work for the royal family or king in any capacity.
The statement stressed that he is just like other celebrities, politicians, religious and community leaders who visit the palace to pay homage to the king and seek royal blessings .
It stated, “Samson Balogun is not a member of the royal family and does not work for the royal family or king in any capacity.”
The family therefore extended their condolences to the family and friends of Mohbad and has called for a thorough investigation into his death.
They have also urged their friends in the media to be mindful of the sensitivity of the issue and desist from spreading falsehood that may jeopardize this investigation .
