Social media has been set ablaze with reactions after legendary Nigerian singer 2Face Idibia tied the knot with Natasha Osawaru, a serving Edo State lawmaker, in a private ceremony in Abuja.
The low-key traditional wedding, attended by close family members, comes just months after 2Face announced his separation from actress Annie Macaulay Idibia in February 2025.
Videos of the couple posing with their traditional wedding cake have since gone viral online.
Nigerians on X (formerly Twitter) have expressed a mix of shock, humor, and criticism over the development.
@iam\_Bonex wrote: “Who would have known that someday, 2baba will become someone’s housewife.”
@Engr\_Ashile quipped: “In this life, no let your wife stop you from marrying your future wife oh.”
Others, however, questioned the singer’s decision to remarry so quickly.
@shamah007 lamented: “Why my legend the rush like this??? E no fit take a little break from women affairs? You just come out of one wife, you rush go marry another one. Can’t you live without women? Na wa ooo.”
Some comments focused on the bride herself.

@DeyemiAdediran predicted drama ahead: “It’s a matter of time, he go still leave Natasha! Na him way!”
2Face, popularly known as 2Baba, proposed to Natasha just days after confirming the end of his marriage to Annie, sparking public debate at the time.
The recent wedding has now reignited conversations about the singer’s love life, with many fans reminiscing about his past relationships while others urged Nigerians to respect his personal choices.
As of press time, neither 2Face nor Natasha has publicly responded to the online reactions.
