By Miss Kebbi Emerges 2017 Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria
Ugochi Ihezue (Miss Kebbi) moments ago was crowned as the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria at the glamorous event which wrapped up this year’s edition of the Most Popular pageant show in the country.
She came top of the whole contestants, 36 of them after successfully scaled through two hurdles in the final round.
The contestants experienced their first surprise when host of the show, Ik Osakiodoha announced Miss (es) Abuja, Bayelsa, Oyo, Imo, Plateau, Anambra, Kebbi, Ondo, Lagos, Nassarawa, Edo, Niger, Abia, Sokoto and Kwara as among the top 15 of the competition.
After that, the Judges passed another list which trimmed the contestants of 5; leaving Miss (es) Sokoto, Plateau, Kebbi, Oyo and Bayelsa to remain on the stage. Then it was time to announce the big winners.
While Miss Bayelsa (Rebecca Nengi) was announced on the 5th position, Miss Oyo (Emmanuella Yaboh) came 4th and was also awarded as Miss Tourism.
The 2nd Runner Up was announced as Miss Plateau (Winfrey Okolo) who was also decorated as Miss ECOWAS as Miss Sokoto (Agbasi Stephanie) also Miss Universe came second behind Miss Kebbi who was then crowned as Miss Nigeria.
Miss Ugochi is expected to represent the country in pageant competition around the world for the next one year.
