Nigeria’s Super Eagles, will today open camp in Uyo, capital of Akwa Ibom State ahead of Saturday’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Tanzania.
Nigeria pro-football league stars, Emmanuel Daniel, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Jamiu Alimi will arrive in Uyo on Monday.
Some foreign based players, including defender William Troost-Ekong and forward Odion Ighalo are also expected in camp on Monday.
Team captain Mikel John Obi, fresh from leading the Nigeria U23 to Olympic bronze in Brazil, will hit the team’s camp on Tuesday.
It is a dead-rubber match as both teams are out of the race for Gabon 2017 with Egypt picking the lone ticket from the group.
