BIOGRAPHY
The APC Chairmanship Candidate for Ijede LCDA, Motunrayo Adijat Gbadebo was born on 1st of April, 1990 into the family of Otunba Wasiu Gbadebo and Late Yeye Fausat Gbadebo. She was born in Dolphin Estate in Ikoyi, Lagos but spent a larger part of her growing up years in Ijede and other parts of Ikorodu Division.

A proper Lagos bred, Motunrayo has spent her entire life in the Lagos State where she also had all her education.

EDUCATION
Young Motunrayo started her Educational pursuits at NEPA Staff Primary School in Ijede before proceeding to Lagos State Model College, Igbokuta then to the prestigious Lagos State University, Ojo where she obtained a degree in Political Science in 2012.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER
Motunrayo started her professional career as an Administrative Officer with Federal Capital Development Authority Abuja, during her one year compulsory NYSC scheme. She also had a brief stint as a professional model before venturing into the world of entrepreneurship.

THE BUSINESSWOMAN
After interning at Ologe Aso Oke under her late mum who was also a renowned fabrics merchant, Motunrayo established her imprint, House of Tweetyz, a fabric sales company that also deals in bespoke apparels and general fashion merchandising.

LEADERSHIP AND POLITICS
As an undergraduate, Motunrayo handled several responsibilities in her political science department as well as the body representing Ikorodu indigenes in LASU, the National Association of Ikorodu Division Students, where she served diligently.

Following her venture into politics, she was soon elected as the Vice Chairman of Ijede LCDA, a position she holds to date. She also doubles as the Supervisor for Health and Environment at the LCDA, a position carefully handed over to her by her boss, Alhaji Fatiu Jimoh Salisu. Motunrayo is also the Chairperson of the Tenders Board Committee of Ijede LCDA till this moment.

FAMILY
Motunrayo is happily married to Azeem Alogba, a professional who works with INQ Digital Solutions, a multi-national enterprise solutions company formerly known as VODACOM. Mr Azeem is from the reputable Alogba family of Ikorodu origin. The couple is blessed with beautiful children.

Motunrayo is the daughter of the late Yeye Fausat Gbadebo, the pioneer Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA who before her death was the All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos East Senatorial Woman Leader. Her dad, Otunba Wasiu Gbadebo, a UK trained professional is the Otunba Fiwajoye of Ijede, a title bestowed on him in 1992.

PHILANTHROPY
In the past few years since assuming office as the Vice Chairman, she has continued to provide support to the needy and the most vulnerable people in Ijede and beyond. Her philanthropic activities are however mainly focused on the education of indigent young people with a particular focus on the female gender.

A courageous young woman, Motunrayo has always had an unflinching zeal in the general development of others and she is always eager to see others succeed. She is a politician with a focus to better the lives of the people especially the women and young people of Ijede Local Government Area.

As a pragmatic, charitable and grassroots’ person, Motunrayo sees community service as a veritable tool for social development especially as regards the Youths. She has structured her life with discipline, integrity, respect, diligence, vision and purpose.
