By The CEO of Slice Media, Khadijah Okunnu-Lamidi has emerged as one of the winners of the debut edition of the Lagos Youth Awards held at the prestigious Sheraton Hotel, Lagos, on Sunday.
Okunnu-Lamidi was nominated in the ‘Most Outstanding Young Entrepreneur’ category alongside Nola Adetola (Veritasi Homes), Sijibomi Ogundele (Sujimoto), and Lara Rawa (CEO-Eventi Cocktails, Founder-Lagos Cocktail Week).
The leading media executive was announced winner at the event, which had in attendance nominees, dignitaries, members of the political class, and industry bigwigs.
Mr Kayode Badmus, Co-founder of BBN360, the organisers of the award, presented her the plaque as she expressed her gratitude for the recognition.
Tagged “The Working Tribe”, this year’s edition of the Lagos Youth Awards recognised no fewer than 15 exemplary young people in the centre of excellence drawn from different fields of endeavour.
