MARIAM BELGORE EXTENDS EDUCATION GRANT TO INDIGENT STUDENTS IN ABUJA

On Wednesday, the 6th November 2019, Maryam Balgore visited Galadimawa junior secondary school, Abuja, to give educational grant to some of the students whose parents couldn’t afford their school fees as she promised them, when she visited in November 2018.

In her post on twitter quoting Mahatma Ghandhi, she noted that ” the best way to find yourself is to loose yourself I the service of others”. Amongst those who graced the occasion were the vice principal Mrs Alika and teachers, Mrs Ademola and Mrs Oriola of Galadimawa junior secondary school, Abuja.

In her post, she identified a young boy whom she said is being sponsored to school by  single mother.

“This is frank Danjuma, one of the beneficiaries, whose mum is a single mother to fend for her kids herself. We will be visiting Frank’s mum to support her in our own little way”

Mariam Belgore is daughter of Islamic cleric Farooq Onikijipa and the lawfully married wife of the son of the former chief justice of Nigeria, Honourable Mohammed Belgore. She is the founder of the MOB foundation a non governmental organization which is dedicated to making lives more qualitative for people, bringing hope to the deprived and destitute and advancement of happiness in the lives of general public.

    Spokesman for the family, Mr Morakinyo Bayode, a United Kingdom-based architect, said the week-long chain of events, jointly put together by the Bayode family as well as the alumni associations of the two schools, would kick off on Monday (today) with a special commendation service at Aisegba Community Grammar School, Aisegba-Ekiti.
