By Manchester United Officially Welcomes DJ Cuppy After Ighalo’s Goal On Saturday
Nigeria’s budding DJ and philanthropist, DJ Cuppy may have found her new club in Manchester United days after dropping support for Arsenal Football Club.
Cuppy, who has been an Arsenal supporter until recently tweeted on Saturday that it will be right as a Nigerian to officially join Manchester United if Nigerian top striker, Odion Ighalo gets a goal during the FA Cup Quarter Final match against Norwich City. A tweet that was sent before Ighalo swinged the ball pass Krul, Norwich’s goalie.
Reacting to Cuppy’s tweet after Ighalo’s goal, the official handle of the Old Trafford team replied “Welcome aboard”, thereby welcoming her on board as Manchester United fan.
Nigerian international, Ighalo had minutes after the first half secured a goal to put his side in front of the Quarter Final match but was leveled by an outside yard shot by Cantwell in the 75th minute. The match ended at 1-1 draw at FT thereby extended the match into Extra time.
Captain Harry Maguire however slot the ball into back of the net few minutes to the end of the second half of the Extra time, at exactly 118minutes. Manchester United victory at Norwich has secured them a slot at the FA Cup Semi Finals.
