One Asuquo Friday, 27, has been arrested by Anambra Police operatives over failed attempt to kill his friend, Kingsley Araino, over N1, 000 debt.
Blackbox Nigeria gathered that the suspect, who had an altercation with Kingsley, 27, over one thousand naira, ran into one City of Restoration Church. Amawbia, and came out with a pump action gun, loaded with four live cartridges.
The suspect, who shot the victim at the back, was thereon arrested.
The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Mohammed Haruna, while confirming the incident stated that the recovered weapon from the suspect was used in perpetrating other crimes.
SP Mohammed added that the suspect, who voluntarily confessed to the crime, will be charged to court after ongoing investigation.
