As celebrations is still very much at its peak for those that pitched their tent with the winner of the just concluded 2019 Presidential election that saw President Muhammadu Buhari of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC re-elected into office for another 4 years, the same cannot be said for a Twitterverse, ‘Omo oshodi’.
Omo oshodi who revealed himself as a driver took to his Twitter handle @fatailekanolaji yesterday to narrate his ordeal to the general public where he resumed to work a day after the pronouncement of Buhari as winner in jubilation only to discover all his moves in congratulating other colleagues didn’t augur well with his boss as he was sacked with immediate effect.
The die hard supporter of the incumbent admission who has as his profile picture the face of President Buhari expressed shock on how extreme his political affiliation and support of Buhari could cost him and his family.
With @fatailekanolaji experience, one is likely to wonder how great the political ambition of another could cost ordinary Nigerians trying to make an honest living. It is also a clear pointer to how politics is a ‘do or die’ affair in this part of the world.
