The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a 48-year-old man identified as Segun Taiwo for allegedly having a hand in the death of his “Sugar mummy”, Abimbola Olusola.

Spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Abimbola Opeyemi, confirmed the development, saying CSP Femi Olabode led the homicide investigation to unravel the whole incident.

The police tracked down Taiwo to his residence in the Obada Oko area, where he was arrested.

According to reports, the suspect during interrogation revealed that he invited the now-dead 50-year-old over to his house for a sleepover as his wife was on a vacation.

Taiwo said the deceased started showing signs of ill-health around 3am after they had become intimate and before he could do anything, she gave up the ghost.

Fearing that he might be accused of killing the deceased, the suspect drove her remains to Aro area where he dumped it.

Meanwhile, investigations are still ongoing by the police as at time of filing this report.
