By Major Shake Up Hits Lagos Police As Force Headquarters Remove Tunji Disu As RRS Commander
Some major changes has hit the hierarchy of Lagos State Police Command, BlackBox Nigeria has learnt.
A source disclosed to the Media that the Commander of the Rapid Response Squad (popularly called Lagos RRS) DCP Tunji Disu has been removed and replaced with Saheed Egbeyemi, who was until this shake up the Chairman of the Lagos State Environmental Task Force and Other Special Offence.
Also, it was gathered that SP Sola Jejeloye, who was Commander of the Governor’s Monitoring Team (GMT) has been drafted to replace Egbeyemi as Task Force Chairman while SP Ibrahim Bakare has been slated to take over the now vacant Commander position at the GMT.
News of the major shake up was made official on Wednesday when DCP Disu who is yet to be given a portfolio was asked to report at the Operations Department of the Force Headquarters, Abuja immediately the circular was released.
