A police officer, Bishop Eno has been declared wanted by the Delta State Police Command after he reportedly shot his girlfriend who turned down his marriage proposal.
Report has it that Eno, who is said to be from the Isoko Division, shot the lady in the breast.
It was gathered that the girlfriend refused Eno’s proposal after 5 years of their relationship since she found out he was already married with a child.
Angered, the police officer traced her to her new residence to demand that she refund the N1.5 million which he used to set up a shop for her — though the latter’s family had agreed to pay at a specified date.
According to a neighbour, Eno must have run out of patience and shot her.
The lady almost passed out from the bleeding. She was rushed to a hospital in Warri where she is being treated.
Meanwhile, the culprit is still on the run as at time of filing this report. Police authorities are presently searching for him.
