Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has reignited her public feud with fellow star Iyabo Ojo, accusing her of launching a calculated campaign to destroy her marriage and tarnish her public image.
In a strongly-worded Instagram post celebrating her 5th wedding anniversary, Anjorin claimed that Ojo orchestrated a series of malicious acts, including allegedly hiring someone to secretly record her husband, forging a death certificate to solicit donations, and spreading damaging falsehoods through blogs.
“Marriage is about kindness and loyalty, not destruction,” Lizzy wrote.
“Iyabo Ojo, I still remember how you called me, claiming that Senator Melaye gave you a diamond wedding ring shortly after my wedding. I never knew it was a lie. Why did you cook up stories about getting a diamond ring? To do what again?”
Anjorin also alleged that Ojo had weaponised public sympathy for personal gain, actions she said had emotionally affected her children.
The escalating rift between the two actresses reached a legal climax earlier this year when Iyabo Ojo filed a N1 billion lawsuit against Lizzy Anjorin, citing alleged defamation.
However, the court dismissed the suit and ordered Ojo to pay N500,000 in legal costs.
As of now, Iyabo Ojo has not publicly responded to Lizzy Anjorin’s latest allegations.
