List of 47 abducted kids in Kano released

Days after the rescue of nine children kidnapped in Kano state and trafficked to Anambra state, where they are renamed and converted to Christianity, some of the affected parents have released a list of 47 children suspected to have been abducted and taken to the southern part of Nigeria.

The rescued children was impelled because of the public outcry by some of the parents that there were cases of missing children in some parts of Kano.

According to the outlet, the leader of the group of parents, Tajiir Hotoro, said the number of missing children abducted within the last four years in just Nassarawa LGA of the state, is more than 100.

While presenting the list, Hotoro said there are more parents with missing children who did not care to register with their group.

“Quite a number of parents have registered to their fate; some don’t even have the transport fare to attending our meetings.

“We are calling on government and other relevant agencies to join together to rescue our children” Hotoro said
