Popular Nigerian rapper and songwriter, Keshinro Ololade also known as Lil Kesh, has broken his silence following a violent robbery incident that occured late at night on Wednesday.
The music act was stabbed in the ear and punctured through the ear while his jewelry were reportedly carted away by the robbers.
In a message shared via his Instagram stories on Thursday, the music star reassured supporters that he is safe, healing, and grateful to be alive.
“Life threw me a curveball, but I’m safe, healing, and blessed to be here. Grateful for the love, support and prayers,” Lil Kesh wrote, accompanied by a white heart emoji.
Though he did not disclose the severity of the injuries suffered after the incident, his message suggests he is getting better.
Fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry have since flooded social media with messages of encouragement and prayers for the artist’s full recovery.
Lil Kesh, known for hits like Shoki and Efejoku, has maintained a relatively low profile in recent months, with fans eagerly anticipating new music.
His latest message may signal a slow but hopeful return to public life.
