LG Polls: Embrace Peace, Work for Party’s Success- Yaba LCDA Chairmanship Candidate, Omiyale Urges

All Progressives Congress chairmanship candidate, Yaba Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Kayode Omiyale has cautioned aggrieved party members against resentment and lawlessness, urged them to shelve their swords and allow peace to reign.

He disclosed this while reacting to the protest made by some aggrieved members in Yaba LCDA.

According to him, “Now that all actions had been completed both screening and confirmation of my candidacy, I passionately appeal to all the party members mostly aggrieved persons against ill-will and lawlessness, lets work together for total victory on the day of elections.

“Definitely, there must be bitterness when you lost a position to your fellow aspirant on a certain position, but at the same time we should know that we have only one vacancy. All aspirants cannot occupy chairmanship seat in Yaba LCDA.

“But I thank God and the leadership of our great party, APC both state, local government and wards levels. Even other party members for the struggle started well and ended well. I appealed to aggrieved party members to support me and make Yaba LCDA great again, he said.

He further stated the party leadership would ensured they work for the party’s success before and after the election.

“On their grievances, the party leadership would wade into it and ensure they support us for our success. I am assuring them by God’s willing that chairmanship pendulum would swung to them next time, but it required their dedication and commitment to the party’s growth and strength, he said.

“For now, they should support the party by mobilising more votes for me, my vice and all councillors. Surely this government would carried them along.

He charged the residents to vote massively for APC to benefit the dividend for democracy.

“I urged all the good people of Yaba LCDA to vote massively for me and all our councillors for all and sundry would enjoyed good governance and dividend of democracy again just like the tenure of Former chairman, Hon. AbdulRaheem Olajide Jimoh. By God on our side, we would not disappoint anybody, he said.
