By News reaching BlackBox Nigeria at this moment has it that students of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho earlier today stormed the State of Osun Government House to prevent any form of celebration for the Governor.
The Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola turns 60 today and it is coming at a time the students have been asked to stay at home as lecturers are currently on strike.
BBN learnt that the students have been on series of protest as they have been calling on the Governors of Oyo and Osun States to pay up their striking lecturers whom they owed over 8months salary.
It was learnt that security officials attached to the Government House at Okefia prevented the students from mounting a road block at the front of the gate but they immediately mobilised very closed to the gate blocking all the entrance.
BBN also gathered that the activities lined up for the 60th birthday celebration of Aregbesola is to climax today at the Government House.
