Laulat Memorial Foundation Gets CAC Certificate As Founder Makes Birthday
Laulat Memorial Foundation established in the year 2020 as Laulat Global Foundation has now completed its registration as a non-profit organization with the Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs Commission.
Sharing the good news as he marks his 52nd birthday on August 7, 2022, the founder of community development focused group, Prince Olayiwola Shotomiwa said he is elated that the process of registration has come to a fruitful end.
“I am aware you know that when we established this platform two years ago to contribute our little quota to community regeneration, the name was Laulat Global Foundation but with the CAC registration now perfected, the name is now Laulat Memorial Foundation.
“I think the new name is even more instructive considering that Laulat Memorial Foundation was established in memory of my late mum, Alhaja Laulat Omoluyi Jimoh Hassan, to provide succour to the needy and contribute to community development,” he said.
Laulat Memorial Foundation in the last two years of its establishment has erected a borehole at Sholawon Street, Igbogbo-Baiyeku, Ikorodu area of Lagos State. In the same years under review, it trained 6 Youths in Computer Education, provided 10 Youths with Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination forms and 20 with GCE forms in 2021. Provided 8 people with GCE forms in 2020, provided a sewing machine for 2 people, a video camera for 1 individual and an Oven and Gas for another 1 indigents in Igbogbo community to start small scale business.
The group also provided mother and child support to the first baby to be born on Christmas Day in 2021, in celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
