By The Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University, Professor Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun is about to be awarded with the Senior Advocate of Nigeria title.
Prof Fagbohun name was included in the list published by the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee arm of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
Prof Fagbohun is a Nigerian academic, author and a Professor of Environmental Law. He is the 8th substantive Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University.
He was appointed by the governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode to succeed professor John Obafunwa, a Nigerian pathologist whose tenure ended on 31 October 2015.
His administration at the State’s varsity has turned around the fortunes of the Citadel of Learning as it continues to compete in the commity of Universities in the Nation.
Lagos State University was under his administration recently ranked the Best State University by the NUC and also ranked as the 3rd University with Highest Investment Turnover.
He is to be awarded a SAN, the Most Prestigious Honour in the Legal Profession under the Academic Category.
