The commissioning is scheduled for Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the university’s Epe campus.
This donation comes from a man with a distinguished career spanning journalism, governance, and law.

The auditorium, located at the School of Agriculture at the Epe campus, is designed as a hub for academic lectures, conferences, and strategic gatherings.
The commissioning ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. and feature performances as well as speeches.
Among the dignitaries expected are Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who is the Special Guest of Honour, and Minister of Education Dr. Maruf Olatunji Alausa who will Chair of the Occasion. Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello will serve as Chief Host.
