In line with the new Residency Policy of the Lagos STate University, the Vice Chancellor, Professor ‘Lanre Fagbohun has unveiled plans by the University Management to construct a 6,000 capacity hostel for Students.
The hard-working VC made the revelation at the monthly breakfast meeting held with the Students’ Union Leaders in his Conference Room recently.
While showing the Students representatives the Master Plan drawing of the hostel, Prof Fagbohun revealed that investors were already jostling for opportunities to invest massively in the institution’s project.
He enjoined the Students to resist attempt to destroy the image of the Citadel of Learning because the University can only be well developed when it is Peaceful.
He also announced to the delight of the Students that the newly constructed Students Arcade will be ready for use as soon as possible. He promised that it will be commissioned alongside other projects as slated during the Convocation Ceremony.
