By The management of Lagos State University under the leadership of Professor Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun is set to immortalise all its committed lecturers that have contributed largely I the development of the institution.
The committee was on Tuesday inaugurated at the Vice Chancellor’s Conference Room with members of the University Management in attendance.
In a communique made available to BlackBox Nigeria through the Centre for Information, Press and Public Relations, an arm of the VC’s office, a committee has been inaugurated to handle the honouring of the university’s heroes and heroines.
A CIPPR officer, Mr Jeariogbe Olaniyi Sam disclosed to BBN that Prof Fagbohun emphasised on the commitment, dedication and passion of Citadel of Learning lecturers.
Also, another Committee was inaugurated to oversee the maintenance of the University Staff Quarters which also needs attention.
Professor Abolade Adeniji was appointed to head the Committee to honour late lecturers while Professor Harrison was named to head the committee to see to the maintenance of Staff quarters. Both have since accepted their roles.
