The School of Agriculture of Lagos State University has concluded plans to hold a commencement lecture at the Epe Campus of the State-owned institution.
According to a statement made available to BlackBox Nigeria via the Cente for Information, Press and Public Relations (an arm of the Vice Chancellor’s office), the commencement lecture is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, June 28th, 2017 by 12noon.
The commencement lecture topic is tagged, Economic Diversification for Sustainable Growth and Development: A Way Forward for Nigerian Agriculture which is to be delivered by the Guest lecturer, Chief Emmanuel Ijewere, Chairman of Best Foods Farms Ltd and Co-ordinator of Nigeria Agriculture Business Group.
Special Guests of Honour of the Day are Hon Toyin Suarau, Lagos State Commissioner of Agriculture and Mr Obafela bank-Olemoh, Special Adviser to the Governor on Education while the Guest of Honour is Dr Olayiwole Onasanya, the Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture.
The Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun will be the Chief Host and Professor O. B Kehinde, the Acting Dean of the School of Agriculture will be the host.
