Lagos State University (LASU) has secured the second position among the most applied universities in Nigeria, according to the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination Application Statistics released by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

With an impressive 62,601 candidates choosing LASU as their first choice institution, the university surpasses its previous ranking of third place in 2023, with over 55,000 applicants.

The University of Ilorin takes the top spot with 64,143 applicants, while the University of Lagos (UNILAG) follows closely in third place with 59,105 applicants.

The university’s rise to prominence is a testament to its dedication to academic excellence, research, and student success. LASU’s strong corporate image and reputation for excellence make it a top choice for students seeking a comprehensive and enriching educational experience.
