LASU Postpones 24th Convocation Over Corona Virus

 

The management of Lagos State University has postponed its 24th convocation ceremony indefinitely.

BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the postponement was as a result of the prevailing health threats posed by corona virus and also the resolution of the Lagos State Government to discourage gathering of people in public places.

The announcement was contained in a statement signed by Mr Ademola Adekoya, the Coordinator of the Centre for Information, Press and Public Relations (CIPPR). He stated that the convocation ceremonies earlier scheduled has been postponed indefinitely, till further notice.

He disclosed that the management regrets every inconvenience the postponement might have caused to all graduating students, awarded, family, friends and all other stakeholders in the University community.
