By LASU Orders Investigation On Campus Marshal For Brutalizing Student, As Victim Press Charges
A Business Administration student of Lagos State University, Adeleye Samuel (Will.I.Am) on Thursday took to the social media to give details of his ordeal in the hands of an overzealous security attached to the school, popularly called Campus Marshal.
According to the student’s statement, he was on official duty during the LASU Students’ Union Election when we was accosted for going towards ‘restricted area’ , where elections were reportedly being collated. He was however cleared after he identified himself as the Audit Secretary of the Union, a position which gave him clearance to proceed.
But, an erring Marshal will have none of this as he immediately pounced on the student, and eventually injured him with the butt of his rifle.
Eyewitnesses of the gory incident disclosed that they were amazed with the reaction of the Marshal as the victim, Samuel was never armed in anyway to get such treatment.
In his reaction to the brutalisation, a top Management staff disclosed that the accused Marshal has been identified and full investigation will commence into the case to ascertain what really happened, as directed by the school authority.
BBN gathered that the affected student attested to the response of the Management as he also declared to press further with the case in order to get justice.
