LASU Graduate Wins N22m Food Truck from Hilda Baci in Entrepreneurial Boost

Lagos State University (LASU) witnessed a moment of celebration and empowerment on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, as renowned chef and entrepreneur Hilda Baci presented a fully fitted N22 million food truck to Muyiwa Adefenikun, winner of her 2025 Christmas Menu Class.

Muyiwa, a graduate of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies and founder of the popular campus food brand “Yiwamata,” was recognised for his exceptional drive and entrepreneurial spirit. Alongside the state-of-the-art food truck, he also received a N2 million business grant and a scholarship to study Restaurant Management at the prestigious Red Dish Culinary School.

LASU described the event as a celebration of vision, resilience, and the reward of hard work, highlighting its continued commitment to nurturing student-led innovation and enterprise.

The initiative was made possible through the collaboration of Hilda Baci, Chef Stone, Truck Central NG, and other partners, all praised by the university for investing in the next generation of entrepreneurs.
