“It’s a big platform for Ghetto Tigers Football Club based in Lagos. We are so happy getting on this project and getting our players to play in an international competition.
“It’s something that makes me very emotional because this is why we train, this is why we play. I can tell you the players are happy, motivated and want to give their best when called on.
“The five players that got the platform are not taking it for granted, they appreciate the chairman and vice chairman of Odi-olowo Ojuwoye LCDA and appreciate the country manager of SKF.
“They know it’s a once in a lifetime platform, it’s a platform that if you did not utilize it well, they might not come back again. It’s very good for the players and the team and I’m proud as someone associated with Ghetto Tigers FC.”
The Nigeria Eagles team to the Gothia Cup is sponsored by SKF Nigeria and facilitated by the chairman of Odi-olowo Ojuwoye LCDA, Mr Rasaq Ajala.
