LASU Bars Sacked Lecturers From University Premises
Authorities of Lagos State University has barred recently sacked lecturers from gaining entrance into the premises of the institution. It would be recalled that LASU last week sacked 15 lecturers and two other non-teaching staff for various degrees of offences.
The university in a statement obtained by BlackBox Nigeria this afternoon that dismissed staff are to stay off the premises.

According to the statement, “University Authority has received credible reports to the effect that some erstwhile Staff of the University who have been DISMISSED by the Governing Council of the University, for one form of misconduct or the other have been coming into the University premises, intent on initiating violence and breakdown of Law and Order on the peaceful Campus.”
The University however revealed that any dismissed officer who wishes to visit must do so by first contacting the Security head of the citadel.

“Against this background, the dismissed Individuals who wish to have access to the University premises must contact the Chief Security Officer of the University on 0803-408-5523 or through his E-mail address: [email protected] who will facilitate such access as may be appropriate,” the statement read in part.
