Elegushi Oyekanmi, a multifaceted professional with expertise in law, politics, real estate, and fintech, has taken up the position of General Manager at the Lagos State Infrastructure Maintenance and Regulatory Agency (LASIMRA).
The appointment was confirmed by Black Box Nigeria through a tweet made by Jibril A. Gawat on his official X handle on Thursday.
Having distinguished himself in various fields, including property law and politics within Lagos State, Oyekanmi’s appointment reflects his exceptional track record and commitment to public service.
He has served as executive secretary/legal adviser at the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) and subsequently as Executive Director at Ibile Holdings Limited.
His tenure as Acting Managing Director at Ibile Holdings further demonstrated his ability to drive growth and success.
In his new role at LASIMRA, Oyekanmi has pledged to maintain an open-door policy, encouraging active participation from all staff members to contribute to the agency’s development.
In his words, ” Staff’s welfare and growth is prime if we must move the agency to a greater height”.
