By A member of the Lagos State House of Assembly who prefers anonymity told BlackBox Nigeria that members of the opposition party in the House have no reason to defect to the ruling party because even the members are already tired of the APC.
Also an aide to one of the lawmaker stated that there is a laid down procedure for defection in the House, which is yet to take place.
“There is a procedure, the person(s) willing to change political party affiliation need to first write a letter to the Speaker, which will be read at the floor of the House, nothing of such happened yesterday so the defection cannot be legal in law,” he told BBN
