To bolster their chances of securing the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the forthcoming primaries slated for May 22, three leading youth aspirants for the Lagos State House of Assembly seat in Ikorodu Constituency have met behind closed doors.
The aspirants — Samson Bisiriyu (Igbega Ikorodu), Eniola Adeyemi (Wake-Up) and Bolaji Isikalu (IBO) — met in Ikorodu, on Wednesday.
Though details of the meeting are yet to be reveal to the public, it was gathered that the trio who are all under the age of 40 met to discuss areas of possible collaboration and to ensure that a youth emerges as the APC flagbearer.
The three aspirants have all procured and submitted their expression of interest and nomination forms ahead of the APC primaries.
Meanwhile, only 8 of over 17 aspirants for the Lagos Assembly seat in Ikorodu Constituency 1 purchased the nomination forms. They include Bisiriyu, Adeyemi, Isikalu, LAHA Majority Leader, Hon. SOB Agunbiade, Toyin Gafaar Bolowotan, Gbolahan Ogunleye, among others.
